Re: Monday night Jags Thread

Yeah, that was more execution than call. Maybe I'm seeing things out here, but does it seem like Taylor is using more pre-snap motions than usual? I associate that more with McVay and Shanahan and McDaniel or even Reid than I do with our usual offense. And the trick plays kind of go with that, tryin...

Re: Bengals v Bills Pre-Game Notes & Chatter.

"we are the better team we just have to keep their QB under control" THIS. We cannot let Allen start feeling like Lamar back there. Mike Hilton should be a nice spy in this game. I would have a spy that's a little more athletic and bigger frame, like Dax Hill. Disagree. Dax is needed in the seconda...

Re: Cats vs Niners Game Thread.

Joe Burrow has made CJ Uzomah and Hayden Hurst look like very good TEs. Irv Smith does not look like a very good TE. That fumble was just the latest in a line of poor play. Carolina doesn't seem to like Hurst, could we trade Irv to them straight up? Doubt it, but I would take it if we could.

Re: Bengals Related News & Notes

This could turn into a Iosivas party... He can play. Just needs reps. I can easily see him replacing Higgins. I'd keep Chase, of course, do everything imaginable to keep Boyd, which I think who has been clearly over looked his whole career and so underrated and get some picks for Tee. I'd love to k...

Re: Bengals at the Bye. Thoughts....?

On his podcast, Dehner made the observation that it's crucial for Joe to have trust with the guys he's throwing to, and right now he doesn't seem to trust anyone who isn't a wide receiver. Irv Smith and Mixon have dropped so many that he doesn't even look at them unless he absolutely has to. Dehner ...

Let's go boys! I think this could be my year. Assuming I don't forget about the draft again.

I remember posting about the politically correct mindset several years ago here and how it was liberal whites that had a problem with Native American team names and not actual Native Americans.... https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/native-american-group-threatens-commanders-boycott-name...

I won't be able to watch it, but I'm excited for the slew of new stories about how good/bad/indifferent everyone looks! Bring on the wild speculation and overhyping!

Re: OTA chatter

Coming in late on this, but as much as I agree that the front office could have / should have handled Jonah differently there, it's all the more impressive that his attitude now appears to be as good as it is. I don't know if that's a credit to him and his character, to our coaches and their ability...

Re: NFL News & Notes

Not really thrilled with this. Thoughts....? Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero NFL owners approved the resolution putting the ball on the 25-yard line following a fair catch on a kickoff, I’m told. Special teams coordinators unanimously opposed the change, but it’s happening. I'm good with it. Similar ru...
