Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread

B1 asks and someone delivers, it's like the board revolves around B1... I can't imagine how his wife feels...

We're a week away! Honestly not as excited for this one as I was the last 2, but still excited.

thanks Meat!!! would love to know who ya'll are pimpin. this draft is so weird since we're picking so late (and likely will trade out of that pick). i dont remember ever picking later than like 19 or 21?

-I think they want linderbaum but i doubt he makes it.
-so we'll go with a CB/Safety, or DT with our first pick (Cine from GA, or Hall from Houston)
-gotta get a TE in the first 4 rounds
-OL depth for sure
-kick returner is a must
-wouldn't hate a punter late

Personally I think we take DT at 31 if Cine makes it that far, if not I say we trade back to mid 30's and take Hall out of Houston and grab another pick or two.

I'm not crazy high on Linderbaum because I think we can get a very good Center later in the draft. I wouldn't be mad if we went CB at 31 if this the right guy, I'm not super high on Booth because of his surgery.

This draft is so up in the air because of the lack of quality QB's it's literally going to be impossible to predict.

I'd like to trade back. Lots of depth in this draft. We can get quality players from rds 2-5. I'd like to add at least one more pick in the top 100. Need a Interior DL, CB, S, TE, OL depth, and a WR or 2.

⬆️ ... this

I'd like us to move back for extra picks (not too far down though)

For those in the trade down camp, looks like there is at least one other late first round team planning to dump their first round picks. This article about KC could have probably been written about Cincy as well. We may end up on the short end of the stick and nowhere to trade down to if the Chiefs dump their two picks right in front of us, among other teams as well.

I will come down to if a player is available that a team 10 picks or so back really wants and willing to trade up and get.

I want Elam and if he's not there then I'm wanting D Hill S/CB from Michigan. Only reason I'm ranking Elam above Hill is because Elams a true CB and Hills a true Safety who can play CB.

Who I'd take

CBs
Booth
McDuffie

Safetys
Cine
Pitre
Brisker

Linemen
Johnson
Penning
Smith
Linderbaum
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Lewis Cine, safety, Georgia is my prediction. I believe both safeties are FA after the season and will only be able to afford to pay one of them.

I’m locked in to these guys in this order:

Linderbaum
Logan hall
Cine
Booth
Trade back and take the best CB and grab a top TE with the extra pick
