not just sacks, but tackles. his tackle rate is HORRENDOUS. he missed nearly 30% of his tackles.

I can't wait to see Lamar escape him and smoke us for major play after major play

So I am sitting after the pick talking with Duke Manyweather, Trey Smith, a few other players, and a few trainers and they are all telling me Stewart is elite. Of all the OLs in the program, they say he gave guys the most trouble (Membou really had a tough time with him). Trey was not happy to see him go to Cincy. I mentioned my concerns, comparing him to Murphy. First no one was concerned much with Murphy. On the other hand no one was looking forward to facing Stewart. Barring injury he should be starting at some point this season.
You would think if gave OL so much trouble he would have more sacks.
and remember, the knock on murphy is he "can't finish"

so let's draft a dude 2 years later WITH LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME KNOCK

Did you ever see the movie Signs (2002) with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix...?

This quote reminds me of the Bengals draft strategy....

"Merrill's a class-A screw up. He would just swing that bat as hard as he could every time. Didn't matter what the coaches said, didn't matter who was on base. He would just whip that bat through the air as hard as he could. Looked like a lumberjack chopping down a tree. Merrill here has more strikeouts than any two players."

That’s great. Especially when duke says he is a doubles hitter

Became a cam ward fan when he rolled out there in a simple suit with no elaborate jewelry and entourage. Just a dude dressed to go to work. Love it.

Remember guys.

If we have to defend the pick then you've made the wrong pick.

Like Bill Parcels used to say, if you have a quarterback controversy then you dont have a quarterback.

Same philosophy here.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Interesting clip and take from Micah Parsons on Stewart. I couldn't find the original clip otherwise I would have posted it.
