Yeah, cause if we panic and pick Slater imma be mad. 6'3 300 pounds Tackle playing against the Rats, Clowns and Stoolers. Good luck with protecting Burrow. My gawd.
Ultimately he would more then likely not be playing tackle, guard would probably be where he would end up but at the same time he's still got the size to play tackle it's not all about how tall you are, as long as he's got good feet and knows how to use his hand properly.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:50 pmYeah, cause if we panic and pick Slater imma be mad. 6'3 300 pounds Tackle playing against the Rats, Clowns and Stoolers. That's why we don't take him at 5. We don't need to select someone who doesn't have a solidified position in the 5th spot.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 5:08 pmUltimately he would more then likely not be playing tackle, guard would probably be where he would end up but at the same time he's still got the size to play tackle it's not all about how tall you are, as long as he's got good feet and knows how to use his hand properly.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:50 pmYeah, cause if we panic and pick Slater imma be mad. 6'3 300 pounds Tackle playing against the Rats, Clowns and Stoolers. Good. Dude proved himself last year. He's one bad hit away from being paralyzed or worse. No need to keep putting his body out there. I'm sure he's got a good career ahead of him in broadcasting/coaching/ or Hell, motivational speaking. With the drive he's shown I'm sure he can be successful doing whatever he wants.
It wasn't that they had a sub par O-line it was that 4 of their starters were out for that SB matchup!
