Keep him in NY for a few days. I love NYC the first day I’m there and by day 3 I’m like get me the heck out of here and away from these people

The #Jets are signing TE Tyler Kroft to a one-year, $2 million deal with $1.5M guaranteed, per source. Max $3M with incentives.

So the Giants did what Cinci is used to doing. Allow a guy to visit and then lets him leave without signing...
Re: 2021 Free Agency
According to numerous sources he just left for the night to get some sleep. He didn't leave town.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 9:52 pmSo the Giants did what Cinci is used to doing. Allow a guy to visit and then lets him leave without signing...

Re: 2021 Free Agency
Now you have my attention. If they pull this off it really allows them be creative in the draft. And I think they played their hand with the removal of Ross, AJ and now Erickson. I think they are planning to take Chase at #5, I bet they go DE in the second round unless they can package a deal to somehow get maybe Slater much lower in the first. They'll take another OL prospect if he's there. Otherwise they go all defense in the later rounds assuming they get a piece like Turner on board now and get Chase at #5.
Make this happen Mikey and you get a solid A from me for the offseason effort.
Now go win.

As much as I would like to see them take Chase at #5 even over Swallows, I just don't think they are setting themselves up for that. To me it looks like they are thinking they can take swallows and then strike gold again in the 2nd with a WR like they did with Higgins.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 8:38 amNow you have my attention. Interesting article on Dalton going to Chicago, they told him he was the day 1 starter... Fowles still there right?

I know I know Hobson sucks but the quotes out there by other players coming here about Burrow and how they wanted to be here because of him really makes me a believer. Not that I wasn't before but I'm sure there was a lot of truth out there last year to Miami throwing the kitchen sink at Cinci to trade out of that number one pick. I for one am sure glad we didn't!
