Re: Bengal Transactions
FWIW.....from the fan realm (comments section) regarding Cappa.....
He won’t be the same with out Wirfs and Jensen on each side to him…wait and see. He was awful prior to last season.
I have no input on this comment at all. I can see the possibility that Kappa improved due to top players around him, so in that regard I hope we didnt get a weak link. But his stats certainly indicate a nice improvement over Hopkins or Carmen. So we wait for the results.
Now please go get a tackle and lets put a nail in this Oline coffin!!

We tendered Fred Johnson a one year $2.4mm deal? I dont care about how cheap that was, why is he still even on this team? He's awful!!
Granted none of it is guaranteed so he may not make it thru camp. But still!

Johnson adds depth which we need. Depending on the draft he might not make it

Always a practice squad candidate that's familiar with the system.skycruiser wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 4:14 pmJohnson adds depth which we need. Depending on the draft he might not make it

You don't stash guys with $2.4mm contracts on the practice squad. Again, Johnson doesn't have guaranteed anything, but I think he would walk if they tried to stash him there indefinitely.Zoo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 4:15 pmAlways a practice squad candidate that's familiar with the system.skycruiser wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 4:14 pmJohnson adds depth which we need. "How much does the average practice squad player make?
Players with tenure earn $14,000 per week, or $252,000 per season, a nice spike from the $8,400 practice squad players used to make. And players with two or fewer accrued NFL seasons make $9,200. Those numbers will increase exponentially over the life of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, up to $20,050 in 2028.
There's no room for players and teams to negotiate the money. The rates are the rates."

Re: Bengal Transactions
All this does until we find a better replacement is make Burrow and the Offensive weaker. Prove me wrong....
