Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Bengals’ key unrestricted free agents this off-season: S Jessie Bates, S Vonn Bell, TE Hayden Hurst, CB Eli Apple, LB Germaine Pratt, RB Samaje Perine, TE Drew Sample, CB Tre Flowers.

Bengals projected to be $44 million under salary cap, but also budgeting for Joe Burrow deal.

Good lord. Just wait Hobson puts out they're as broke as a joke column.

I wouldn't break the bank for Bates. I think he's decent at best. I think he's had some good games, maybe a good year. I'm not hating the guy, but Bell has outplayed him over the years imo. Bates is ok, but he's not let's break the bank good. But I'm sure another team will over 17M a year. I just don't think the Bengals should or will.

I feel the most important thing we need to do this offseason is keep Lou. After that we really need to focus on keeping Pratt as well, he's probably the leader of this defense not Bates... I'd love to resign Bates over everyone else but we all know he's not coming back. Those are my early thoughts but very interrupted this morning.

The problem is Hill has looked like shit all season when given his chances... I'm not sure he's the replacement we're hoping for.

I think Dax played well before his Injury. Although he really needs to do better on special teams.

Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero
The #Cardinals also requested an interview with #Bengals OC Brian Callahan for their head coaching job, per source. Callahan also is a candidate for the #Colts job.

Agree Meat, but I think his potential is huge if the light switches. I seen some good plays from him, but a lot of bad plays as well. Basically I have high hopes and faith in Hill. In college play was lights out. I'm not aure why that isn't translating. But sure if it schemes, or what. But i really think he had a bright future.
