Dov Kleiman @NFL_DovKleiman
Report: Bengals WR Tee Higgins "could be traded" for a top draft pick if the team can't reach an extension with him and the money he's asking for is "outrageous", per
@TheAthletic

Higgins is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and went over 1,000 back to back seasons.

Addendum....

Dov Kleiman @NFL_DovKleiman
I made a mistake in this tweet I'd like to correct:

While I represented the information correctly,
@pauldehnerjr
did write that Higgins "could be traded", "if" an extension isn't reached. It was his analysis of the situation and not him reporting it. I'll do better next time.

Lou has a second interview scheduled with the Cardinals late next week per PFT.

Mikey needs to lock everyone down before this team gets gutted.

Agree. Potentially losing Higgins, Bates, Bell, Lou Do, Pratt would be catastrophic for this team.

BTW, I do not believe Higgins will be traded.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Albert Breer @AlbertBreer
The Cardinals will conduct a second interview with Bengals DC Lou Anarumo on Friday, with Giants OC Mike Kafka also set to get a second interview (timing TBD on that one), per sources. The interviews, as of now, are set to be done over Zoom.

Those are the only 2 known finalists.

I had no idea how he played last two years so looked it up.
2021- 54 - 848 - 3tds - 16 games
2022 - 24 - 236(77 on 1 catch) 2 tds - 15 games

So he was able to stay healthy both years and '21 was a good year but this past year clearly showed father time has caught up with him. He did end up with over 10k yards and 70tds.

Minnesota just hired him as their DC.

I'm gonna say Lou bags this one. Two reasons:

1) AZ will panic now with Flores off the board. They wont risk losing anyone they like and Lou by far is the best choice on the market.

2) Lou will be motivated to accept. Your goal isnt to stay a DC forever. And Lou knows this team could easily regress. This is probably his best chance to exit on top for top money.

Um, yeah. I'm going to have to disagree with that logic. Not that Lou wouldn't and doesn't deserve it.
More or less they have to try and salvage Kyler Murray's career. Kafta may not be the right answer, but he'll relate better to Murray. Either way who ever gets this job has their work cut out for them.
