I didn't catch the beginning of the game but we don't look very good on either side of the ball. I like but don't like the pre-season.
Re: PreSeason Wk Game Thread - Bengals Packers
Pros:
Evans and Brown looked quick. Brown did not fumble which is the major knock on him.
Tycen looked good. 2 INTs. One he had to fight for and another he anticipated.
Iosivas looked good. Very tall, looked almost a full head taller then the Green Bay defenders around him. Made some nice catches both along the sidelined and in traffic.
Robbins hang time was epic.
After that initial sack the O-line looked fairly decent. Cartman continues his Jekyll & Hyde play. One drive he looked steady the next he'd whiff and let his man right into the backfield.
McPherson looks to be on automatic again.
Cons:
If Burrow misses any games we're in trouble. Neither back-up QB looked sharp.
Second string front 7 play was mediocre most of the game. Little pressure on the GB quarterback and gave up some big runs.
Offense generally looked lethargic and out of sync most of the night.
All in all about what you'd expect from a first pre-season game. Plenty to work on but nothing to panic over either.
On to Atlanta.

I'm telling ya. I think Dax Hill gonna be our breakout player. Have always had extremely high hopes for him. They give him reps and a natural position then we ain't gonna a miss Bates.
I think we seen why the team loved Anderson in the draft. I'm in Indy at Arca and Truck race so I didn't get to watch the game. I do think if Burrow is out first 4 or 5 games then you need a better Qb. Trevor and Jake ain't it. Maybe if Burrow misses time they can find someone off PS or waivers.

I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Read that Burrow was running on the sideline? He may not even miss the 1st game...

Yes, there's tape of him running and throwing on the sidelines and field before the game. All without the compression sleeve on his leg.
