Michael Jordan did everything right over the offseason. He handled adversity of last season well. But he needed to show up and be demonstrably better on the field to make the staff forget the last two years.

It wasn't enough. And as Carman/Smith bubbled up, the road closed.

It's good to see them admitting their mistakes and moving on. How many years did they cling to Gutcheck and Oogie-Boogie amongst others when it was clear they were not starting caliber players?

Now, they just need to work harder on not making these kinds of drafting mistakes to begin with....
