Sources: Bengals Signing Former Cowboys Quarterback Will Grier to Practice Squad
I was honestly hoping they would sign this guy. He's a helluva lot better back up than what we've had in a long time.

I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

From PFT...
Bengals fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
Quarterback Joe Burrow took part in practice for the first time in more than a month on Wednesday. Burrow injured his calf at the start of training camp and has focused on rehab work since that point, although he did work out on the field before one of the team’s preseason games.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said “we’ll see” when asked on Tuesday if Burrow would practice this week. His return should put him firmly on track to play against the Browns in Week One.
There’s also been some question about whether Burrow’s contract status was affecting his practice participation. Burrow is eligible for a contract extension, but Taylor said his absence has not been related to negotiations and Burrow has not said anything about holding himself out of any work because he hasn’t received a new deal yet.

Regardless of Burrows status, they need to get this freaking deal done. Dragging it out serves no purpose whatsoever.

The #Vikings are expected to sign former #Bengals OT Hakeem Adeniji to their practice squad, source said. He started 15 games at four different positions for Cincy, including in the Super Bowl.

No issues here. My girls are out on the NC coast this week on Ocracoke Island. They had about 6" of water across most of the island last night but it has subsided this morning as the storm heads out to sea. Like all hurricanes that pass by every year and give us a summer reprieve, the skies are clear and the temps are in the 50s!
First feel of fall, just in time for college football weekend!

Bengals signed RB Demetric Felton, formerly of the Browns.
Felton was left off the Browns’ 53-man roster after the team went out and acquired Pierre Strong from the Patriots last week. Now, the versatile running back and return man will get a chance to earn his way onto the Bengals roster as a member of their practice squad. Through two seasons, Felton has totaled 20 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns and has another eight carries for 20 yards on the ground.

Here we are a week away from CLE and still no Burrow contract. This is a major fail IMO. If they are truly not close, I'm making an assumption there, then Burrow and especially his agent have to be thinking about sitting out. All of this cryptic bullshit about his calf is related to his contract, I'm convinced of it. You don't risk injury with $500mm on the line.
