No one's going to like my take on this but I'm going to put the blame on Joe Burrow. Multiple times this season he's had the chance to close out games and he hasn't. Joe had 2 legitimate shots to win this game tonight and he didn't. I don't blame McPherson, he just need to get more work in. He's too talented to be missing like he is. Burrow on the other hand is getting the numbers but he forgot how to finish out a game. Mahomes forgot how to get numbers but knows how to finish a game. I also blame the front office for letting too many talented players walk. Instead of being so stubborn adjust to the talent you have there and build a team. This is honestly very frustrating to see a team with this much talent just suck so hard!
Burrow is beat, literally, he's worn, literally, he's depleted. He has the best numbers over a 2 game period that's probably ever been seen. His season has beyond excellent. This isn't a Burrow problem. Yeah...I agree, redzone has sucked, ain't gonna lie. But....BUT....when they can't score then it's up to special teams...i,e, McPherson to do his job and he hasn't.

He's a bum cause I say he's a bum!

Anyone remember like didn't he miss 3 FG attempts at winning the game against the Packers last season?

I'm telling you right now. Changes from Coaching staff to players need to be made during the off season or Burrow isn't going to be around long. And if he goes so goes Chase. Someone gonna get clipped soon

starting to wonder if Chase is not gonna sign and just playout his last year and then leave to a competent organization.

I would. But not sure he leaves Burrow. But with that said they may be talking/planning something.

Things are definitely gonna have to change or Burrow isn't staying and that's fact. He'll pull a Palmer and who can blame him? Help better be on the way this off season or I can't see either one playing next season and again, who can blame them

They better not screw him around like they have done, well, everyone else.... and here's the thing, you know they will.

Honestly yall, I can't see this ending well for Burrow or Chase. I really can't.

remember when i was really upset cuz Carson left us?

I feel the opposite right now. I feel for Burrow. I like him so much i almost want him to leave so he could go to a real franchise that tries to win.

I felt this way about AJ Green. Really loved him, felt sorry for him. Carson? Yea and no. I think he was a dick head to be honest but dealing with Mike Brown had that effect in you after awhile.

Yeah, I'm there now with Burrow. Well, almost. I'll give this organization this off season and that's it. I mean Burrow was drafted at 24, not 21-22 like most. He has about 3 to 4 more great years in him and that's it. We may never see him have this season again. I want them to right the ship, well they? I'm not sure. He's taken a beating! I mean an ass whooping this season. It's got to wear his body out as well as emotionally.

So things we know...they're not goinf over salary cap to improve this team. They're not over paying-or what they call over paying for anyone. They'll do their due diligence and enquire about alot of free agents. They'll look for the Rankins, Eric Scott's of the bunch, mid to low tier - age in them - had maybe 1 food season outta 3 or 4 - coming off injuries and due to "breakout" soon. We ain't never getting the Bosas, the Top 10 to 20. Sooooo that leaves the draft. I honestly don't think this team is that far away.

1) secondary needs fixed bad. 2) interior d line needs fixed bad. 3) if they don't keep Trey, we're fucked and if we do that's not enough, more pass rush, and just when you think you have enough, get more! 4) LBs are legit 5) another pounder at RB - someone like a Josh Jacob's, that type. 6) oline - same as pass rush, you can never have enough.

was reading some stats about our two starting guards....

during pass plays, they were grading out at #75 and #77 RGs in the league....

OUT OF A TOTAL OF 77.

Gawd i feel bad for Burrow.

Trey is signed through next year. Regardless if he is signed longer or not the Bengals will very likely not have Trey as we know him two years from now. He is 30 now the number of high level DE at 32 in NFL history is extremely small. He will likely get a contract from a team that will quickly regret giving it to him (Bills/Von Miller).
